Newswise — SAN ANTONIO — The 2012 CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium will be held here in the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center, Dec. 4-8, 2012.

The meeting, jointly sponsored by the Cancer Therapy & Research Center at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, the American Association for Cancer Research and Baylor College of Medicine, is the premier destination for science, medicine, advocacy and media leaders who focus on breast cancer. This year, the meeting will host the following press briefings for members of the media:

• Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, 7:30 a.m. CT• Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, 7:30 a.m. CT• Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, 7:30 a.m. CT

The mission of the CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium is to produce a unique and comprehensive scientific meeting that encompasses the full spectrum of breast cancer research, facilitating the rapid translation of new knowledge into better care for patients with breast cancer.
