Newswise — The Florida State University has internationally recognized faculty researchers who stand ready to comment on the 5.8 magnitude earthquake that shook parts of the eastern United States on Aug. 23. They are:

He has special expertise in Appalachian geology/tectonics, the area where this quake occurred.
