Newswise — The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will release a summary of its latest assessment report in Brussels this Friday, April 6. The report will focus on climate change impacts, including how warming in specific regions may affect agriculture, coastal areas, ecosystems, human health, industries, and water supplies. It will also detail options for societies to adapt to climate change.

Five U.S. scientists who helped write the assessment will take part in a teleconference for the media at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (8:00 a.m. Pacific Time) on Friday. Reporters who wish to participate should contact David Hosansky to obtain the phone number and passcode.
