Newswise — Media representatives are invited to attend the International Brain Bee competition. The competition will test neuroscience knowledge of national Brain Bee winners from high schools around the world. Canada will be represented by Isdin Oke, from Centennial CVI High School in Guelph, Ontario. The students will participate in four sessions (written, diagnosis, anatomy and oral) that will assess their ability to answer questions on topics such as intelligence, memory, emotions, stress, aging, sleep and neurological diseases.

The event will take place at the same time as the 2nd Annual Canadian Neuroscience Meeting, jointly organized by the Canadian Association for Neuroscience (CAN) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addictions. It will give the students the opportunity to meet with prominent neuroscientists.
