Newswise — Princeton, NJ—July 18, 2016—The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) announced today that it will be holding a two-day training program on budget impact analysis, Building a Budget Impact Model: Budget Impact Analysis Training, in Durham, NC, USA on November 16-17, 2016.

Health care treatments are increasingly assessed by reimbursement authorities to determine the impact a therapy may have on the health system’s budget. As a result, budget impact analyses (BIAs) now play an essential role in the evaluation of therapeutic options, and understanding of BIA is vital knowledge for professionals and administrators working in health care today.

The ISPOR BIA training program is designed for anyone who develops, utilizes, or funds/sponsors BIA models.
