Dr. Murphy has over thirty years of experience in pediatric care. As a New Jersey native, Dr. Murphy attended high school in Belmar, NJ and has served the local West Long Branch community for most of his career. Dr. Murphy graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and Vanderbilt School of Medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and is board certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Truxal is a seasoned pediatrician with more than three decades of experience providing care for children. Dr. Truxal also attended Vanderbilt University’s School of Medicine. He completed his residency at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City, and a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hillside Medical Center in Long Island, New York. He is board certified in Pediatrics, serves as a fellow for the American Academy of Pediatrics and is the author of numerous publications focused on health care for children.

Both physicians have been recognized for their achievements in the field of pediatric medicine and care. Dr. Truxal has received the Patient’s Choice Award in 2008-2009 and 2011-2012. Dr. Murphy was recognized with the Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2011-2012, and recently received the Bridges to Excellence Recognition 2012-2015. Dr. Murphy was also honored by Castle Connolly Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area from 2002-2013.
