Newswise — Kevin G. Dunsky, MD, joins The Mount Sinai Medical Center as Director of Cardiovascular Institute Practice Development. He will also serve as the Associate Director of Quality Assurance for Mount Sinai Heart and Associate Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Dunsky comes to Mount Sinai from NewYork-Presbyterian where he served as Assistant Clinical Professor in Medicine in the Department of Cardiology. He served as an Instructor in the Department of Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian.
As Director of Cardiovascular Institute Practice Development, Dr. Dunsky will be responsible for the development of a clinical cardiology practice that integrates full time and voluntary cardiology practices at Mount Sinai. He will also assist in the development of junior cardiologist practices. As the Associate Director of Quality Assurance, Dr. Dunsky will develop an integrated quality assurance program for all of Mount Sinai Heart encompassing the Cardiovascular Institute, Cardio Thoracic Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery.
Dr. Dunsky earned his BA at Brown University and his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
