The conference brings together community health center leaders, national leaders, policy experts, and consumers to study and debate coping strategies for the deepening crisis in America's health care—rising health care costs, a growing uninsured patient population and stretched resources from shrinking state and local budgets. NACHC'S 2004 Policy & Issues Forum comes as polls show that American voters cite health care as one of their top concerns. America's Community, Migrant, and Homeless Health Centers are the family doctor to 15 million Americans, who include millions of uninsured, medically underserved persons, the homeless, low-income families and seniors.
