NEW ALL-NATURAL NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT CLINICALLY PROVEN TO LOWER CHOLESTEROL Clinical Study Shows Supplement Significantly Cut Cholesterol Levels in Four Weeks
COSTA MESA, CA, October 20, 1997 -- The combination of all-natural ingredients in the nutritional supplement LipoGuard was found to reduce total cholesterol levels by 11 percent, according to results of a clinical study published in this month's issue of the Journal of the National Medical Association.
The study, led by University of California at Irvine Associate Professor of Medicine, N. Charle Morcos, M.D., Ph.D., found that 40 subjects with serum cholesterol levels between 200-250 mg/dl who supplemented their diet with LipoGuard for four weeks decreased their cholesterol levels without any significant side effects.

Results of the single-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study also showed a significant reduction in triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (the so-called "bad" cholesterol). Triglyceride levels dropped by 34 percent and LDL levels by 10 percent.
LipoGuard works by using proprietary technology to combine the well known beneficial effects of fish oil (omega-3 fatty acids) and garlic along with the company's exclusive ingredients. Fish oils rich in omega-3 fatty acids help balance good and bad fats in the blood by reducing triglycerides and helping prevent the unwanted build-up of cholesterol in the blood. Garlic extracts have also been shown to help regulate cholesterol.
