Newswise — Baltimore, Md. − Neil Meltzer begins his tenure as president and chief executive officer of LifeBridge Health, a regional health care organization with more than 7,000 employees and more than $1.2 billion in gross revenues. LifeBridge Health is the parent company of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and related subsidiaries and affiliates.
Meltzer previously served as the president and chief operating officer of Sinai Hospital and the senior vice president of LifeBridge Health. Prior to that he served in various leadership roles at Sinai dating back to 1988 when he joined Sinai Hospital as vice president for operations.

Among Meltzer’s many accomplishments at Sinai Hospital and LifeBridge Health are the creation of the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, The Sandra and Malcolm Berman Brain & Spine Institute, The Herman and Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital, LifeBridge Health & Fitness, and the Office of Medical Education; the expansion of the Krieger Eye Institute; and the restructuring of the Operations Improvement department and Sinai Physician Partners group.
In addition to his achievements within Sinai Hospital and LifeBridge Health, Meltzer is also a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and continues to volunteer in many capacities at the American Heart Association, which included his past terms as the chairman of the board. Meltzer also currently serves on the U.S. Government Accountability Office's National Health Care Workforce Commission, as the chairman of the Jewish Hospital Task Force of the Jewish Federation of North America, as an Executive Committee member of the Maryland Hospital Association and on the Greater Baltimore Committee.
