Newswise — Participants who complete levels I-IV of the American College of Radiology’s Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) program will now be awarded credits towards a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business.

Babson’s innovative, Fast Track MBA program is one of the top-ranked MBA programs in the country. The curriculum consists of a combination of core courses, signature learning experiences and electives totaling 46 credits over 21 months. Online learning averages 20 hours per week and face-to-face classes take place approximately every seven weeks in either Wellesley, MA or San Francisco. In addition, students are required to participate in two, week-long residences (one at the beginning of the program and one mid-program) in Wellesley, MA.

The Babson Fast Track MBA offers significant value and key differentiators that sets the MBA apart from others, explains Fast Track Faculty Director, Professor Michael Cummings:

“Babson’s Fast Track MBA program allows our students to leverage their time, learning, network and investment while earning a full MBA. Our diverse student body attracts those with backgrounds in engineering, marketing, medicine and law. The cohort based design allows participants to work collaboratively in a team-based learning environment. While diverse in their backgrounds Fast Track students are united in their dedication to learning.”

Up to four Babson credits will be awarded to RLI participants who successfully complete level IV of the RLI program. Credits earned through the RLI program can be used towards Babson’s elective courses. As an added benefit, physicians who enter Babson’s Fast Track MBA program with advanced standing credits are entitled to take additional elective courses (equivalent to the number of credits earned through advanced standing) at no additional charge. RLI participants will not be required to take the GMAT prior to admission in the Fast Track program. “While the RLI equips radiology professionals with the leadership skills they need to advance their careers and strengthen the radiology profession, many of radiology’s future leaders would benefit from earning an MBA as well. I am thrilled that the RLI and Babson have teamed up to offer today’s radiology professionals both. I encourage RLI participants at all levels to take advantage of this unique opportunity,” said Cynthia S. Sherry, MD, FACR, medical director of the RLI and chair of the ACR Commission on Leadership and Practice Development.

An informational, admissions webinar will take place on Tuesday, March 12 at 8 p.m. EST. To sign up, please visit http://bit.ly/W0842c.
