Newswise — LOS ANGELES (Oct. 19., 2011) - Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking “Sleepwalkers” in all 50 states to be part of its seventh annual run for her® 5K Run and Friendship Walk on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. This event raises awareness about ovarian cancer and supports the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute.

Last year, run for her® had registered participants in all 50 states and nine countries. Regardless of where you live, you can register as a Sleepwalker or start a Sleepwalkers Across America™ Team at www.runforher.com. Sleepwalkers will receive an official Sleepwalkers Across America™ T-shirt, run for her® socks, and a run/walk event bib in the mail.

Once registered as an individual or as part of a team, a fundraising page will be created for each participant, who can then personalize their page by adding photos and messages about how they are participating as a Sleepwalker.

More information is available at www.runforher.com or call (323) 866-6410. Join the mission to end ovarian cancer as a threat to women.
