Newswise — WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 28, 2012) – Nominations for the Excellence in Women’s Health Research Journalism Awards are now being accepted by the Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR). The Awards will recognize journalism that provides accurate, relevant and accessible research on women’s health. Original reporting via television, radio, print, or Internet on new research findings or a review of current research will be considered.

Awards will be presented at the annual Society for Women’s Health Research Corporate Advisory Council meeting on November 13, 2012 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The nomination deadline is August 31, 2012. A $50 entry fee is required at time of submission.
