The Honorable Tom Campbell (R-CA) to Speak on Leveling the Playing Field Between Health Plans, Physician and Patients
WHO: Tom Campbell, Republican Congressman of the 15th District of California, Sponsor of HR 1304, the "Quality Health Care Coalition Act," and Republican Candidate for the United States Senate in California.
WHAT: Will speak on the House Judiciary Committee's recent passage (26-2) of the "Quality Health Care Coalition Act," often referred to as the "Campbell Bill." The bill, which now has more than 210 co-sponsors, will allow physicians to jointly negotiate the terms and conditions of their contracts with health care plans, without violating anti-trust laws and without joining a labor union.
