VIDEO NEWS RELEASE ALERT

MOUTH PROTECTORS: ESSENTIAL SPORTING EQUIPMENT

With more than two million teeth knocked out every year, mouth injuries
are claiming teeth, fracturing jaws and even causing concussions. The
American Dental Association (ADA) reports that many of these injuries
are sports related and could be prevented by simply wearing a
mouthguard.

The ADA believes mouth protectors should be used by every level of
athlete from professional football players to scholastic basketball
teams to around-the-block bicycle riders. Any adult or child involved
in a recreational activity that poses a threat of injury to the mouth
can obtain smile protection with a mouthguard.

In a video news release (VNR) scheduled for release later this month,
the ADA encourages parents as well as adult weekend athletes to make a
mouth protector part of Fall's back-to-school routine.

The VNR on the benefits of mouth protectors will be distributed via
satellite on Thursday, August 28, 1997, 2-2:30pm, EST at the following
coordinates: Galaxy 4, C-Band, Transponder 10, Dual audio 6.2 & 6.8.
