Newswise — (ROCHESTER, Minnesota, Oct. 26, 2018) – Is your institution seeking money to conduct research on muscle and nerve disorders? The AANEM Foundation is currently seeking applicants for up to $100,000 in development grant funding. Any institution conducting this type of scientific research is encouraged to apply for an AANEM Foundation development grant. Letters of intent are due by January 7, 2019, and final applications are due February 15, 2019.

“The mission of the AANEM Foundation is to advance the research and science related to muscle and nerve disorders,” said AANEM Foundation Executive Director, Shirlyn Adkins. “We are pleased to offer development grants to help promising new investigators further this important research in an effort to find treatments and cures for patients living with neuromuscular disease.”    

Funding

  • Up to $50,000 for up to 2 years. Total award is $100,000 including indirect costs.
  • Complimentary AANEM Annual Meeting registration in the year the research is presented.
  • Complimentary AANEM membership during funding.
