Dr. Memo Diriker, director of Salisbury University’s Business, Economic and Community Outreach Network (BEACON), is available to speak to reporters regarding what the Supreme Court’s decision on President Obama’s healthcare reform could mean for rural healthcare.

Diriker has studied the reform’s potential impact on the Delmarva Peninsula, encompasing portions of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, where healthcare is a leading economic engine. As the founder of BEACON’s GraySHORE initiative, examining the needs of the region’s increasing elderly population, he also has studied ways in which the reform could impact senior citizens.

To schedule an interview with Diriker, call the SU Public Relations Office at 410-543-6030.
