Hackensack University Medical Center Recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review on its “100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Orthopedic Programs” List

December 4, 2019 – Hackensack, NJ – Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center is pleased to announce today that the medical center has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the top “100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Orthopedic Programs” in the nation.

Becker’s Hospital Review highlighted the Orthopedic Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center, which has over 50 team members and offers personalized care plan for patients. An impressive 96 percent of patients are able to walk or stand within the same day as their total joint replacement procedure. In addition, Hackensack Meridian Health’s 30-day readmission rate for orthopedic patients is 1.9 percent, and 80 percent of patients are discharged home.
