November 5, 2014 – The International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) is pleased to announce that its newest publication, A&A Case Reports, a peer-reviewed online journal that publishes informative clinical experiences, has been accepted for indexing by MEDLINE/PubMed. All articles back to Volume 1 Issue 1 will be loaded to PubMed, as well as all articles published going forward. PubMed comprises more than 24 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. MEDLINE includes citations from over 5,600 scholarly journals published around the world. Inclusion of A&A Case Reports in MEDLINE/PubMed will provide international visibility and recognition for the journal’s authors, and confirms the importance of the growing fields of anesthesiology, perioperative medicine, critical care, and pain.

The first issue of A&A Case Reports was released in October 2013, and new cases are published twice monthly. A&A Case Reports is focused on reporting patient cases that make an important teaching point or scientific observation in disciplines related to anesthesiology. This case reports journal was designed as a companion publication to the IARS’s flagship journal, Anesthesia & Analgesia, which has an Impact Factor of 3.422 and is ranked #5 within the Anesthesiology category of peer-reviewed journals.

Brought to you by the same editorial team that publishes Anesthesia & Analgesia, A&A Case Reports is led by Editor-in-Chief Lawrence Saidman, M.D., and Nancy Nussmeier, M.D., Associate Editor-in-Chief. The editors continue to welcome new submissions, and authors may submit manuscripts here.
