“Effective treatment is available. Lymphedema can present differently in each patient, but with early diagnosis and treatment, patients can manage this condition,” said Judith Folweiler, Jefferson therapist. “If you or a loved one is looking for a lymphedema therapist, I recommend looking for someone with the CLT (certified lymphedema specialist) credentials, which indicates that they have had intensive, specialized training.”
Judith Folweiler, OTR/L, CHT, CLT, has over 34 years’ experience in occupational therapy, 16 years’ experience as a certified hand therapist and five years’ experience as a certified lymphedema therapist.
