Newswise — Neurologist Vladimir Klinov, M.D. has joined the team of respected physicians at Southern Ocean Medical Center. He joins Tommasina Papa-Rugino, M.D., Robert Terranova, D.O., and the team at Meridian Medical Group – Neurology – Manahawkin, which is part of Meridian Neuroscience. Dr. Klinov has extensive training in the area of neurology, and specializes in the treatment of Epilepsy.

Dr. Klinov completed his Epilepsy fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to this, Dr. Klinov finished his residency program at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ where he served as Chief Neurology Resident. His knowledge in health care was also enhanced through his internship at New York Medical College – Richmond’s Program in Staten Island, NY.

In addition to receiving his medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua and Barbuda, Dr. Klinov also obtained a doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT. Preceding his pursuit of advanced medical education, Dr. Klinov treated patients with neuromusculoskeletal disorders for six years.
