Roger Clemens is the Associate Director of the Regulatory Science program within the University Of Southern California- School Of Pharmacy, and is Special Projects Advisor for ETHorn, a distributor of food ingredients.
• Food expertise includes: functional foods, health claims, label/product claims, diet and public health, eating disorders, diet myths and fads, nutritional biochemistry, food additives, diet and performance, food-drug interaction, non-traditional methods of diet, nutrition, and medicine, dietary supplements, product development of functional foods and worldwide development/identification of functional ingredients
• Past President, Institute of Food Technologists, member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration, member 2010 USA Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee
• Published more than 50 original manuscripts in nutrition and food science, participated in more than 200 invited domestic and international lectures, and served as an expert panel member for the food industry, scientific organizations, trade associations and regulatory agencies in the United States and Canada
• Dr. Clemens received an AB in Bacteriology, an MPH in Nutrition, and a DrPh in Public Health Nutrition and Biological Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles
