Newswise — Rush University received high marks in the 2017 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s "America's Best Graduate Schools," released March 16. Eight programs in the Rush University College of Nursing and two programs in the Rush University College of Health Sciences are ranked among the top 10 in the country.

The College of Nursing is ranked fifth in the Doctor of Nursing Practice category and 16th in the Master’s category. There are 519 nursing schools in the U.S. with master’s or doctoral programs.

Additionally, in January the College of Nursing was ranked 11th in U.S. News’ 2016 Best Online Programs rankings.

Rush’s College of Health Sciences has top 10 placements in two disciplines:

• Health Systems Management (No. 5; ranked in 2015)• Audiology — Doctorate (No. 9)

Additionally, the College of Health Sciences’ Speech-Language Pathology program is ranked 24th, and its Occupational Therapy program is ranked 25th, improving 10 spots since last year. The school’s Physician Assistant Program was ranked 40th in 2015.
