And the winners are:

"A Radio Bypass" A Malaysian Internet service provider takes to the air and sidesteps its biggest competitor.
"Black, White, and Readable" Low-contrast, hard-to-read LCDs will soon be obsolete if a Dublin startup succeeds.
"Adrenaline for the Grid" A novel machine employing superconducting materials provides crucially needed voltage support.
