California State University Channel Islands Professor of Environmental Science Sean Anderson, Ph.D., can speak to 6.8 earthquake off of Humboldt County as a warning.

The quake emphasizes our need to invest in smart coastal planning and infrastructure investment to deal with climate change-induced sea level rise.Dr. Anderson has studied the California Coast for more than a decade.
