SPORTS MEDICINE

Dr. David Alvarez, assistant professor of orthopaedics and family medicine, is an expert on musculoskeletal injuries and concussions and a team physician at Eastern Michigan University. Contact: dalvarez@med.umich.edu

Dr. Asheesh Bedi, assistant professor of sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery, is a team physician at U-M and Eastern Michigan University and consultant for the National Football League and National Hockey League Players Association. Dr. Keri Denay is a clinical lecturer in family and sports medicine and a team physician at Eastern Michigan University. Dr. Bruce Miller is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery and serves as a team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams. He also serves as head team physician for the U-M football team and the USA Rugby Team. Dr. Edward Wojtys is a professor of orthopaedic surgery specializing in sports medicine. His clinical work and research focuses on knee injuries, and much of his research explores ACL injury susceptibility screening and ACL injury prevention programs.
