Newswise — Stony Brook, NY – October 14, 2015 – The Stony Brook Neurosciences Institute will hold its 6th Annual Meeting of the Minds Symposium on October 30, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the Charles B. Wang Center at Stony Brook University. The symposium will bring nationally recognized neuroscience researchers and clinicians together to explore novel therapeutics and other issues related to autism spectrum disorders.

The symposium features lectures by renowned neuroscience experts and the ongoing achievements of Stony Brook Medicine faculty in the field that, in turn, lead to “real world” applications that ultimately benefit patients. The symposium is open to the public and attracts physicians, nurses, researchers, students and other healthcare professionals with an interest in the field of neuroscience.
