Newswise — Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine will let students, faculty and staff demonstrate their culinary prowess during the 6th Annual Chili Cook-Off.
The cooking competition will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the atrium of Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, located on the campus of Loyola University Health System, 2160 S. First Ave., Maywood.
Participants will be able to sample a variety of chili dishes along with beverages and dessert. Prizes will be awarded for best taste and for best presentation. The cost is $5. Proceeds will benefit the Student National Medical Association, the nation’s oldest and largest independent, student-run organization focused on the needs and concerns of medical students of color.
