Newswise — As an associate professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, Cheryl Dennison Himmelfarb directs a leadership program for students that focuses on patient quality of care and safety. She is also a core faculty member at the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality. She has been principal investigator/co-investigator on many NIH- and foundation-funded trials testing interdisciplinary models of care and other strategies to reduce cardiovascular health disparities among high-risk urban populations and black South Africans.
