A new study published by the Journal of the American Heart Association details sex differences in cardiovascular medication prescriptions in primary care.
In it, the authors explain that women were less likely to be prescribed aspirin, statin or angiotensin‐converting enzyme inhibitor but more likely to have a prescription for diuretics.
