Researchers at University of California San Diego School of Medicine find evidence that all patients with cancer mount an immune response to their tumors, suggesting that many more patients could benefit from personalized immunotherapy. This discovery opens the door to developing vaccines or therapies to increase T cell numbers and treat many more types of cancer than currently thought possible.
